The Photographer Studio believes that learning is a lifelong process, and endeavors to offer a variety of workshops to challenge and inspire everyone, from the novice to the seasoned pro, on topics ranging from lighting to posing to business development. Below are some of the regular or ongoing workshops offered at The Photographer Studio:
Studio 101
Take a tour through the studio from the comfort of your home! - please ask for the link to our studio online tours ( may be outdated, see social media photos for current looks of studio )
One on One Photography Classes
We offer one on one photography classes on an hourly rate basis .
Everything from learning your camera to more advanced skills such as lighting, posing etc .
Please send us an email with what you are wishing to learn and we can set up a weekday lesson or discounted package of several lessons .
Rates : 150/ hr
or 4 classes for $500
Photographer Play-dates
Every now and again, we know photographers get stuck in a rut shooting the 'Same Old Thing' and need to learn how to have fun again. That's why we are thrilled to offer Play-dates for Photographers.
Whether it's your idea or ours, we look forward to seting up the occasional themed shoot JUST FOR FUN. Maybe it's Dress Like a Pirate Day or Nude Model Day or a Corpse Bride meets Mars Attacks mock wedding or Dogs in Dresses. Check our Events page for upcoming classes!
Speakers' Corner and Invited Guests
We will on occasion play host to photographers who will present half or full day presentations to intimate groups in their area of specialization. Featured speakers will include those who devote their time to creative lighting, rock at Photoshop or Lightroom, blow our minds with wedding images, have developed an innovative photographer tool or gadget, or possess a unique talent for capturing newborns. Come on up to absorb their knowledge and passion!
